James was amazingly responsive and professional from first contact- keeping us in the loop all the way to the final findings of his inspection and what it meant to me and recommendations moving forward. They were also half the price. His detail in his inspection saved us more money that we hadn't received in the last several years - even though we hadn't upgraded anything. You should use Hoog! I called to schedule a 4 point inspection and a wind mitigation inspection and James was able to come out right away to do a thorough job. He did a great job documenting all of our upgrades and charged us a VERY reasonable price. He emailed me and also my insurance agent his report right away. I Can't say enough good things about this business and the gentleman who represents it. I definitely recommend you call him!!!

I can’t say enough nice things about Hoog home inspections. James has done a lot of different things for us over the years but more recently he helped us with a situation that could’ve cost us a lot of money that we did not have. During a new roof install where we had an active leak prior James caught some work that wasn’t done correctly. He was able to help me get it squared away with the roofing company and made time to come out more than once to make sure the job was done right. James is an honest and standup guy and I am forever grateful.

I had the pleasure of working with James this week on our new home inspection, while we were 1200 miles away in Michigan. When you’re buying a home sight unseen you need to be able to trust the inspector. James provided a professional detailed report, we texted, talked several times on the phone and gave us confidence on the real condition of the home.
